Play Area Opening event

The Maisemore Village Hall Committee is delighted to welcome you to the opening of our new play area.

The play area is currently under construction and we anticipate completion this week. Apologies if you have been unable to use the swings and climbing frame over the last two weeks while the work has been taking place.

The grand opening will be on 11 July. We are working to arrange an ice cream van and a pizza van, although this is still to be confirmed, so you may wish to bring a few drinks and snacks just in case.

The hall will be open for toilet facilities and tap water, but we will not be running a bar at this event, as Steve would rather be outside watching the fun.

From 1pm to 3pm, we will have several dedicated Play Rangers hosting a selection of games and activities. After that, and for many years to come, the play area will be open for everyone to come and enjoy whenever they like.

If you are from the village, you may wish to walk to the play area, as parking may be limited and the Play Rangers will be using some of the grassed area. We do not want cars driving on and off the grass during the main 1pm–3pm event, so if you are only popping over and not planning to stay for the duration, walking may be the better option.

Thank you to the villagers and Maisemore Village Hall Committee members, both current and past, who have worked to make this possible.

Note: No tickets are required for this, we added it to the events to get it seen :-D
