Skittles Evening
Description
Our ever-popular Skittles alley returns to Maisemore Village Hall on Friday 17th January, offering a relaxed and sociable evening that’s perfect for catching up with friends and neighbours after the festive season.
Doors open from 6:00pm, giving everyone plenty of time to arrive, grab a drink, and ease into the evening before the skittles get underway. Whether you’re a seasoned skittles expert or someone who hasn’t picked up a ball in years, this is very much a fun-first evening — accuracy is optional, laughter is not.
At 7:30pm, we’ll pause play for supper. The meal will be our regular fish and chips, with a sausage supper option also available, freshly prepared and ideal for keeping energy levels up for the second half of the evening.
We’ll continue playing until around 9:30pm, or possibly a little earlier if enthusiasm wanes and the pins remain stubbornly upright. There’s no pressure to stay for the whole evening — come for the skittles, the food, the company, or all three.
Skittles Night is a great way to enjoy a winter evening at the hall, meet new people, and remind yourself that village events are about fun, friendliness, and not taking things too seriously. Everyone is welcome — just bring your best aim… or at least a good sense of humour.
